In the national conference of National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) held in Jaipur on Saturday, the issue of costly fees of lawyers of Supreme Court and High Court dominated. Gehlot and Rijiju in one voice expressed concern over the costly fees of lawyers.
Some way should be found by forming a committee – Gehlot
In the presence of the CJI and judges of the High Courts across the country at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center (JECC) on Saturday, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot targeted the lawyers over the hefty fees. From where will the common man bring big money?
Kiren Rijiju said- Those who are rich make good lawyers. give money. Today, there are many lawyers in the Supreme Court in Delhi, whom the common man cannot afford. If a lawyer charges 10 lakh, 15 lakh rupees for hearing in each case, then from where will the common man get it. No court should be for influential people only. This is a matter of concern for us. I believe that the door of justice should always be open to all equally.
