Chief Justice of India NV Ramanna, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju and Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot at the inauguration of the 18th NALSA Conference.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that many judges give their verdict by looking at the face value. The fees of lawyers are so high that the poor man cannot go to the Supreme Court. Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju also supported Gehlot. He said- Those who are rich, they make good lawyers. give money. Today, there are many lawyers in the Supreme Court in Delhi, whom the common man cannot afford.

In the national conference of National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) held in Jaipur on Saturday, the issue of costly fees of lawyers of Supreme Court and High Court dominated. Gehlot and Rijiju in one voice expressed concern over the costly fees of lawyers.

Some way should be found by forming a committee – Gehlot
In the presence of the CJI and judges of the High Courts across the country at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center (JECC) on Saturday, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot targeted the lawyers over the hefty fees. He said- the poor man cannot go to the Supreme Court today. Who can fix this? is beyond comprehension. Good people cannot go to the Supreme Court.

Gehlot said that fees also have a limit. One crore, 80 lakh, 50 lakh rupees. Don’t know what is happening in the country? I had raised this point once in the meeting of the Chief Justice also. Think about this situation as well. Make a committee. There must be some way.

Everyone’s responsibility to protect the constitution
Gehlot said- Judges also give their verdict after seeing face value, then what will a man do. If such (special person) field a lawyer, then the judge will be impressed. If this is the case then you also have to understand this. We all have a duty to protect the constitution.

From where will the common man bring big money?
Kiren Rijiju said- Those who are rich make good lawyers. give money. Today, there are many lawyers in the Supreme Court in Delhi, whom the common man cannot afford. If a lawyer charges 10 lakh, 15 lakh rupees for hearing in each case, then from where will the common man get it. No court should be for influential people only. This is a matter of concern for us. I believe that the door of justice should always be open to all equally.
