Akanksha Gaur and Paras Chopra, founders of SaaS startup Wingfi, will give a grant of Rs 5,00,00 to 24 talented youth who want to pursue higher studies or start a business. The Gaur & Chopra Escape Velocity Grant is available to 24 young recipients under the age of 25.
Out of the total selected candidates, 12 will be girls and 12 will be boys. The application form for this has been started at invertedpassion.com/escape-velocity-grant. The application form is available in the form of a Google form which the candidates need to fill and submit. However, only Indian citizens are allowed to apply for this grant.
Grants will also help start a company as well as finance a project, purchase equipment, experiment or create art. Here’s how you can apply:
Step 1: Visit the official portal of Gaur and Chopra Escape Velocity Grant https://invertedpassion.com/escape-velocity-grant/.
Step 2: The application form will be available on the homepage as Google Form
Step 3: Scroll down the page and start filling the application form
Step 4: Fill in the personal details and write how you will spend the grant for Rs 50,000 (or less) as well as what the grant will allow you to do that you cannot do now and how this grant will change your life will change
Step 5: Submit the Application Form
Those who will be selected for this grant will be notified within four weeks of applying. However, those who do not hear from their side can apply again in three months. Applications for this grant are accepted every month.
This monetary aid is inspired by the Justin Mars Inflection Grant which provides $2000 for gifted children to pursue their dreams. Grants will help them start companies, learn new skills, build things, make art, do science, push boundaries and improve themselves.
