New Delhi: Samsung’s much-awaited flagship, the Galaxy S22 series is set to debut at the company’s Unpacked event in February, Samsung has confirmed and hinted at the revival of the Galaxy Note as well. Lott’s super-premium, the Galaxy S22 Ultra may have a lot in common with the Galaxy Note. “At Unpacked in February 2022, we’ll introduce you to the most remarkable S series devices ever made. The next generation of Galaxy S is here, bringing the greatest of our Samsung Galaxy experiences into one ultimate device,” TM Samsung Roh, president and head of MX Business, wrote in a blog post.
As per previous leaks and rumours, the Samsung Unpacked event will take place on February 9 and now, the tech giant has confirmed that the Galaxy Unpacked event for the S22 lineup will be held on February 9 at 10 AM ET or 8:30 PM IST. The South Korean tech giant also hinted at the revival of the much-awaited Galaxy Note series. “At Unpacked in February 2022, we will introduce you to the most remarkable S series devices,” Roh said.
“We know a lot of you were surprised when Samsung didn’t release a new Galaxy Note last year. You might love the unparalleled creativity and efficiency of the Galaxy Note series, which saw you switch from gaming nirvana to high-octane productivity.” With one eye. According to Samsung, buyers can register to preorder the new Galaxy devices starting Friday at 7 a.m. PT or 8:30 p.m. IST. The company will announce three flagship smartphones Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S22 at the Unpacked event.
However, Samsung’s blog post does not indicate that it will be launching a new variant of the Galaxy Note during the Unpacked event. As per the blog post, the tease ends with the Ultra series phones, thus, adding to the speculation that the Galaxy S22 Ultra may be positioned as a sequel to the Galaxy Note.
It should be noted that several leaks and rumors have indicated that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will replace the Galaxy Note.
