fuel rates are constantly increasing; CNG, PNG prices also hike in NCR – Times of India

New Delhi: Fuel prices continue to rise across India and hit a record high in the national capital as petrol retails at Rs 100.56 per liter and diesel at Rs 89.62 per liter on Thursday.
Petrol has become costlier by 35 paise per liter and diesel by 9 paise per liter as compared to Wednesday.

Petrol and diesel prices have also seen an increase in other states. Rates have been increased across the country and vary from state to state depending on the incidence of Value Added Tax.
In Kolkata, the price of petrol was increased by 39 paise per liter and diesel by 15 paise per liter.
Petrol is being sold in Kolkata today at Rs 100.62 per liter and diesel and diesel at Rs 92.65 per liter.

The price of petrol has increased by 25 paise in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh and it is Rs 108.88 per liter in the city.
Meanwhile, diesel price in Bhopal remained unchanged and stands at Rs 98.40 per litre.
The Karnataka Congress on Wednesday held a protest over the issue of rising fuel prices.
“Petrol-diesel prices are above Rs 100, this is a gift from the Modi government. The middle class, the poor and the industry are suffering.” Congress MLA Rizwan Arshad said.
Additionally, compressed natural gas (CNG) The retail price in the national capital was revised from Rs 43.40 per kg to Rs 44.30 per kg, while in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad it has been revised to Rs 49.98 per kg from Rs 49.08 per kg with effect from July 8.
Piped Natural Gas (png) The domestic price is Rs 29.66 per scm and Rs 29.61 per scm in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad.
