Rohit Sharma
Ro-HIT-man Sharma tops the list of Indian players with most sixes in IPL. Rohit has hit 231 sixes in his 217 matches so far in the IPL, including four in the current season. Though Rohit hasn’t started his season well, he will certainly be keen to turn things around and hit tons of sixes to revive Mumbai Indians’ campaign. The captain of Team India is also the most successful captain in IPL history, having led MI to five titles. He has a total of 5691 runs in IPL.
M S Dhoni
The second in the list is ‘Thala’ Mahendra Singh Dhoni of Chennai Super Kings, who has hit 222 sixes in 225 matches so far. He has scored a total of 4,838 IPL runs at an average of 39.88 and a strike rate of 135.44. Ahead of the IPL season this year, Dhoni handed over the captaincy of CSK to Ravindra Jadeja and is playing his first season as only a player for the Chennai team.
Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli, the only player to have played for the same team since the start of the tournament in 2008, is the highest run-scorer in the IPL. He has scored 6390 runs in his 212 matches, hitting 554 fours and 212 sixes. Although Virat has not yet won his first IPL title.
Suresh Raina
‘Mr IPL’ Suresh Raina is also a part of the Fab-Four list of Indian players to complete a double century of sixes in the T20 league. The left-handed batsman has hit 203 sixes in 205 matches at an average of 32.52 and a total of 5528 runs at a strike rate of 136.76. Raina is also the first cricketer to score 5000 runs in IPL.
