Delhi rain: The national capital received rains on Monday (July 11, 2022) afternoon, providing much relief from the sultry weather conditions prevailing for the past few days. Earlier, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) had predicted rain in the national capital today. The IMD has predicted light rain or drizzle during the day.
The residents of Delhi remained humid this morning with the minimum temperature at 27.1 degrees Celsius, which is normal for this time of the year. Today the maximum temperature is likely to be 35 degree Celsius. The relative humidity stood at 75 per cent at 8.30 am.
The Meteorological Department in its bulletin published on Sunday has issued a yellow alert for the national capital on July 11. Check the forecast here:

Monsoon effectively embraced Delhi on June 30, but since then rains have repeatedly missed the capital. For the past few days, the IMD has been struggling to make accurate predictions for the capital city.
Earlier, on July 4, the IMD had issued a yellow alert for July 5 and an orange alert for July 6, which was later shifted to July 7. The Meteorological Department later predicted “widespread to widespread rainfall activity” over western Uttar Pradesh, Punjab. Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Rajasthan issued yellow alert on July 9 and July 10, warning of moderate rain in the capital on Sunday. But it did not rain in Delhi on any of these days.
