Marie Buzkova, who tested positive for Covid-19, withdrew from the French Open on Wednesday. His return comes ahead of his second round match at the French Open.

She is the first singles player to pull out of Roland Garros due to the coronavirus. Buzkova was to face 31-seeded Elise Mertens, who advanced to the third round.

“Starting feeling better soon and back on court,” she wrote on Twitter.

Bouzkova is a 23-year-old player who has never made it to the second round of a Grand Slam tournament in 13 appearances, including 10 losses in the first round.

Fourth seed Maria Sakkari lost in the second round of the French Open a year after reaching the semi-finals. Sakkari was defeated by Czech player Karolina Muchova at Roland Garros 7-6(5), 7-6(4), meaning two of the top four women have already been eliminated.
