Freddy’s producer Jay Shevakaramani shares his experience launching Alaya Fu

With his back-to-back huge successes, Jawaani Jaaneman and Malang, Jai Shevkarmani has proven his prowess to craft entertaining cinema. There is a natural excitement among the audience to see his next outing, Freddy, because of that. Jay will venture into a different space of romantic thriller with ‘Freddie’ which stars Kartik Aaryan in the lead role alongside Alaya F.

While the details about the film are still under wraps, Jai Shevakarmani has left cine-goers hooked with his announcement. With this project, the ace producer will enter a different space of romantic thrillers. For the unaware, Jay Shevkarmani launched the young actress with Jawaani Jaaneman in 2020 and collaborated with her again for Freddy.

Speaking about launching Alaya F, Jay Shevkarmani said, “For Jawaani Jaaneman, we needed a fresh face to bring out the rawness of the character. I must say she did justice to the role. One As a producer, I want to give a platform to the new crop of actors as our industry is brimming with young talent. I am sure the audience will enjoy Alaya’s performance in Freddy’s as well.”

Meanwhile, Jai Shevkarmani has already wrapped up shooting for Freddy. This will mark the first collaboration of the filmmaker and his production house Northern Lights Films with Ekta Kapoor and her home banner, Balaji Telefilms.
