Nanakmatta: Four members of a jeweler’s family found dead Udham Singh Nagar Nanakmatta in the district on Wednesday, police said here.
SP (city) Mamta Bohra said the bodies of two of them were found in the bushes near Nanakmatta bypass and the bodies of the other two at their house.
An investigation is on to know the reason behind the sensational incident, in protest against which the Nanakmatta market was immediately closed.
The deceased have been identified as Ajay Rastogi, son of jeweler Shiv Rastogi, Udit Rastogi, son of Anil Rastogi, Asha Devi, mother of Ajay Rastogi and her maternal grandmother Sanno Devi, police said.
Injuries of Ajay and Udit were found in the bushes, while the bodies of Ajay’s mother and grandmother were found at their house.
