Four people were killed and 10 others injured in an explosion at an illegal firecracker factory in Shamli district on Friday evening, police said. The blast took place at a pickle factory in Kairana town and some of the injured were in critical condition, he said.
Police said rescue operations are on and four bodies have been recovered so far. He said that senior police and administration officials are on the spot.
