Foreign Secretary Shringla in Dhaka to prepare for President’s visit – Henry Club

New Delhi, December 7

Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla arrived in Dhaka on Tuesday to prepare for President Ram Nath Kovind’s visit to Bangladesh from December 15 to 17. The President will mainly participate in the Victory Day celebrations on 16 December.

This is the president’s first foreign visit after the pandemic.

The Foreign Secretary will also call on the Foreign Secretary of Bangladesh, Ambassador Masood bin Momen and will also call on Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen. He is also scheduled to meet Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday.

A foreign ministry statement said his visit to Bangladesh, a day after the Friendship Day celebrations, would provide an opportunity to review the comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
