Thiruvananthapuram: As per the request of the State Government to assist the civil administration in disaster management in the flood affected areas, Indian Air Force And Indian Army have deployed their assets in the state KottayamIdukki and Pathanamthitta.

In view of the prevailing weather conditions, all bases under the Southern Air Command have been put on high alert, a Defense Department statement said.
