Five members of a family, including two minors, die by suicide in Bihar; Police started investigation

Although the exact reason behind the suicide has not been confirmed, but it is being said that the family was facing financial crisis.

In Bihar’s Samastipur district, five members of the same family died by suicide on Sunday. Dalsinghsarai DSP Dinesh Pandey has reached the spot and started investigation into the matter.

The incident is of Vidyapatinagar police station area of ​​Mau village. The incident is said to have happened on Saturday night.

When the villagers came to know about the incident, they gathered outside the victim’s house on Sunday morning and found five members of the same family hanging inside the house. The news of the suicide has spread sensation in the area.

Though the exact reason behind the suicide is not confirmed, some reports said that the family was facing financial crunch which may have been the reason for the suicide.

Manoj Jha, the breadwinner of the family, used to drive autorickshaws and sell tobacco. He had also taken loans from many people, which he was unable to repay due to his financial condition.

Forensic team has been called and police have started investigation.

According to a report in Dainik Jagran, the dead include Manoj Jha (45), Jha’s mother Sita Devi (65), Jha’s sons Satyam Kumar (10) and Shivam Kumar (07) and his wife Sundarmani Devi (38).
