Mangaluru: Mangaluru City Police passed Arrested Five people accused of assault autorickshaw driver Feather adyaru padavu on the outskirts of Mangaluru on 10 December.

City Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar said the five arrested people knew the victim. Even before this there has been a fight between them. After the assault, the police had recovered a pair of women’s shoes from Riyaz’s car.
The commissioner said that Riyaz has cases registered against him in five different police stations, including three under the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act.
It was alleged that Riyaz used to bring sex workers from Mandya, Hassan and other districts. “A detailed inquiry is being conducted,” the commissioner said.
