First day of the year and 3 major accidents: Stampede in Vaishno Devi; Hills collapsed in Haryana and fire killed 22 people in Tamil Nadu

On the very first day, three major accidents from Jammu and Kashmir to Tamil Nadu shocked the heart. The first accident happened in Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu, the second accident happened in Bhiwani in Haryana and the third accident happened in Kalathur village of Tamil Nadu. In all, 22 people have lost their lives in the three accidents. Many people are seriously injured, so there are fears that the death toll may rise.

12 killed in stampede in Vaishno Devi
The new year had just begun, the sun had not even come out that the first major accident happened. A stampede broke out at Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan in Jammu and Kashmir around 2:30 pm on Saturday night. People started running, trampling each other.

12 people died in this accident. More than 20 people have been injured. Eight people from Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Jammu and Kashmir have been identified among the dead. The Central and State Governments have ordered an inquiry into the cause of the accident.

There were long queues for the darshan of the mother. During this there was an argument between the factions and the tussle started.

Even after the stampede at Vaishno Devi Bhawan, the crowd of people could not find a place to leave.

Several women were also injured in the stampede. A nurse carrying the injured woman devotee to the hospital with the help of a wheel chair.

Some people died on the spot after being crushed during the stampede. The death toll is expected to rise.

Eight people from Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Jammu and Kashmir have been identified among the dead.

25 laborers buried due to mountain cracking in Bhiwani
Right now the whole country was saddened by the accident of Vaishno Devi that another accident happened in Haryana. A large part of the mountain cracked during mining in the Aravalli hills at 8:30 am on Saturday morning in Tosham area of ​​Bhiwani district. Around 25 laborers got buried under the stones.

Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij confirmed that the bodies of 4 laborers were recovered by 4.30 pm. Stones weighing hundreds of tons fell due to the cracking of the mountain, under which 4 Poklen machines, 2 haul machines, 2 tractors and 6 trolleys and dumpers were also buried.

Due to the cracking of the mountains, so many stones fell that big machines got buried under them.

There are so many huge stones at the spot that the rescue operation is facing a lot of trouble.

Minister JP Dalal also reached to take stock of the situation and gave directions to the rescue team.

Ambulances are standing at the scene to take the injured and the dead buried under the rubble.

4 killed in fire at firecracker factory in Tamil Nadu
By evening, the third major accident happened in the southern state of Tamil Nadu. Four laborers lost their lives in a fire at a private firecracker factory in Kalathur village near Sivakasi here. 8 people are badly injured. These include an 8-year-old child, who had come to the factory with his father.

Police said the RKVM fireworks factory caught fire in several explosions, one after the other, destroying six warehouses and sheds stocked with firecrackers and flammable chemicals. On the occasion of the new year, the owner of the factory had organized a puja, in which the workers had come to attend. After the puja, some workers started mixing highly flammable chemicals to make new types of crackers. After that there was an explosion.

The fire caused several explosions in which 6 warehouses and sheds were destroyed. Among those injured is an 8-year-old child who had come to the factory with his father.
