Dr NN Gopal, Head, Department of Neurosurgery, MLN Medical College said, “This is the first time that such a complex operation has been successfully performed in the field of neurovascular surgery at SRN Hospital. Brain aneurysms are balloon-like sacs outside the arteries of the brain, which bleed easily and cause a hematoma, or blood collection, inside the brain. This is a very dangerous condition as it can lead to coma or even death.”
