quota. A sudden fire broke out in the inspection car of Commissioner of Railway Safety Manoj Arora and DRM Pankaj Sharma parked at Motipura station of Railway Division. However, both the officers had already left for inspection by boarding the trolley. Commissioner Railway Safety and DRM had to go back from Motipura station in this inspection train.
After the fire in the bogie of the inspection train, many people jumped and saved their lives. The incident took place on Thursday in Kot, Rajasthan. 20 officers including Commissioner Railway Safety (CRS) Manoj Arora and Kota DRM (DRM) Pankaj Sharma were in this car.
Suddenly smoke started rising at 3 o’clock in the empty bogie standing at Motipura railway station of Chhabra area of Baran. Suddenly the flames started rising. The bogie was immediately separated from the engine. Fire tenders were called to douse the fire. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Ajay Kumar Pal told that the inspection train had left Kota in the morning. In this, about 20 officers including Commissioner Railway Safety, DRM were on board. In the afternoon, stayed at Motipura station for inspection. The train was standing on the track when suddenly the bogie caught fire. The bogie was empty so no damage has been done.
