A massive fire broke out in a firecracker factory in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday evening. The fire broke out due to the explosion of gunpowder. In this painful accident, four people including factory owner Rahul died on the spot. The explosion was so strong that its sound was heard up to 5 km away.
Parts of the bodies were found scattered 500 meters away due to the blasts. The spinal cord of a laborer was found by the police in the field half a kilometer away. The fire was brought under control by the police and fire brigade team after three hours of hard work. More than 6 injured are being treated in the hospital. More than 3 laborers are said to be missing. After the rescue operation, now the search operation is going on, so that the bodies buried in the rubble can be found.

At the same time, CM Yogi has expressed deep grief over the death in the accident. The CM expressed condolences to the bereaved families. The Chief Minister has directed the officials of the district administration to reach the spot and rescue the trapped people safely and get proper treatment for the affected.

This factory is located on Ambala road between Sarsawa and Surana. The factory was built on the farm. As usual on Saturday, about 10 employees were working here. Suddenly a fire broke out in a corner of the factory. before the workers could extinguish it. The fire reached the gunpowder. The fire spread with loud bangs. Due to which the laborers did not even get a chance to run out.
The plumes of fire were seen from 3 km away. On information, the fire brigade team reached the spot. But the fire was so severe that the rescue could not be done properly.
The Fire and Police Department was busy in the rescue work till late evening.
After investigation it will be known how the fire started
In the midst of rescue work, the generator has been called due to darkness. The exact cause of the fire will be able to tell by the fire department only after investigation. So all aspects are being investigated. According to the Senior Superintendent of Police, the death toll may increase. The damage is also being assessed. It is being told that the license of the firecracker factory was issued.
DM Akhilesh Singh spoke to the CMO. So that the injured can get better treatment. Some of the injured have been admitted to the medical college. Employees in critical condition are being referred to the Higher Center.
Searching for Amit and Vardhan of Salempur
Three people have been identified among those who died in this accident. These include Rahul of Salempur, Sagar Saini of Balwantpur and Karthik Saini of Balwantpur. While the name of the clan of Salempur has come to the fore among the injured. Apart from this, Amit and Vardhan of Salempur are missing after the accident. They are being searched.
