Masaba posted several old pictures of her mother on Instagram. In her caption, she called the veteran actress a “powerful icon”. She wrote: “I mean, find me a more powerful icon! Happy birthday to the biggest, mom!” His post for his mother received a lot of love from other celebrities as well. Neena Gupta is famous for her work in both films and television. She won the National Award for Best Supporting Actress for Woh Chokri and is known for her performances in films like Badhaai Ho, in which she played a pregnant woman in her 40s and 50s. She also acted as Kapil Dev’s mother Rajkumari Nikhanj in 83.
Neena was recently in the news for her upcoming film Alvida, directed by Vikas Bahl, in which she is set to star opposite Amitabh Bachchan as his wife. She says that she is excited to share the screen space with Big B. “When Vikas narrated the film to me, I was overjoyed. It’s an amazing script, and when the script is so exciting no one else thinks of anything. Even though the role is beautifully written, I am very excited to share the screen space with Mr Bachchan. It is a dream come true for me and I am very excited about it.”
