Gurgaon: After a series of requests, the district authorities have finally heeded the appeal of residents of Suncity to build a boundary wall nearby colony In Sector 54. In March this year, the DTP Headquarters had written to Gurgaon’s senior town planner to submit a proposal before a committee constituted under the chairmanship of the Gurgaon Deputy Commissioner and seek permission to build boundary wall on the north side along the Natural Conservation Area area. Resident Kusum Sharma said, “We have a long-standing demand to enhance the security of the colony as several cases of theft and infiltration have been reported from Aravalli area. The residents also raised the issue of handing over of the community center of the society to the RWA or MCG, which is currently in the possession of the developer. Pramod Sharma, another resident, said, “We are being denied space to organize social functions.”
