Fibromyalgia or fibromyalgia syndrome is a condition that causes pain and fatigue throughout the body. Fibromyalgia symptoms can often be confused with arthritis or joint inflammation. However, like arthritis, it has not been found to cause joint pain or swelling and muscle damage.

How to recognize fibromyalgia?

Bipin Jibhakte says that it is not easy to diagnose the disease as there is no specific test for it. But a doctor can learn about fibromyalgia based on your symptoms. He says the main feature of fibromyalgia is pain all over the body, so the doctor will ask you to describe your pain in order to differentiate between fibromyalgia and other diseases with similar symptoms.

Is fibromyalgia a treatable disease?

Fibromyalgia can affect your quality of life, but it is still a treatable disease.
