The more an actor trends on social media, the more popular he is considered to be. Forbes recently released the list of most influential stars on Instagram of the South Indian film industry. Women topped the list with Rashmika Mandanna securing the first position with 9.88 points.

Vijay Deverakonda has secured the second position with 9.67 marks and Yash has secured the third position with 9.54 marks. Samantha is fourth with 9.49 points and Allu Arjun is fifth with 9.46 points.
Dulquer Salmaan is at the sixth position with 9.42 points while Pooja Hegde is at the seventh position with 9.41 points. Bahubali fame Prabhas has secured the eighth position with 9.40 points and Suriya has secured the ninth position with 9.37 points.
Tamannaah is ranked 10th with 9.36 marks. While these are the names of the top ten most influential personalities, the eleventh place has been taken by Mahesh Babu. Ram Charan is at 12th position, while Dhanush is ranked thirteenth, followed by Jr NTR at fourteenth and Kajal Aggarwal at fifteenth.
The Forbes list included four South Indian industries – Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. The Instagram activities of celebrities from these industries were looked at. Forbes released the list of 30 most influential actors on Instagram from four South Indian industries. However, the thing to note is that the stars of the Telugu film industry seem to be dominating in this list.
