Feel excited that opposition leaders are praising AAP: Kejriwal on Navjot Sidhu
Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday said he feels “encouraged” as opposition leaders are also talking about his party, a day after Congress MLA Navjot Singh Sidhu tweeted that AAP has always been a part of Punjab. Recognized for his vision and work.
When asked about Sidhu’s tweet, the Delhi Chief Minister told reporters, “Navjot Singh Sidhu? He is in Punjab. I am glad that you are doing such a good job that even the opposition leaders are praising us. So, Someone feels excited about it.” Kejriwal is on a two-day visit to Goa.
“Our opposition AAP has always recognized my vision and work for Punjab. Be it before 2017 – sacrilege, drugs, farmers’ issues, corruption and power crisis faced by the people of Punjab by me or as it is today I present the “Punjab model”, it is clear they know – who is really fighting for Punjab,” Sidhu said in a series of tweets.
Sidhu’s tweets come amid speculation that the Congress high command is trying to resolve infighting in the party’s Punjab unit and appointing him as the state unit president.
