‘Feel bad for u son’: Varun Dhawan calls out troll who said Samantha Ruth Prabhu ‘has lost her glow’ after Myositis!

New Delhi: Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who is gearing up for the release of her upcoming historical drama film ‘Shakuntalam’, recently reacted to a tweet which claimed that the actress has “lost her charm and shine”. Actor Varun Dhawan has now come out in support of the actress and slammed the trollers.

A verified Twitter handle posted a picture of the actress from the trailer launch event of ‘Shakuntalam’ and wrote on the picture: “Feeling sad for Samantha. She lost all her charm and sparkle. When everyone thought she was going for divorce.” Has come out strongly and is looking at professional life heights, myositis hit her hard, making her weak again.”

Hitting back at the trolls, Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, who will be seen sharing screen space with Samantha in ‘Citadel’, wrote, “You don’t mind anything, you just care about clickbait, for your son Feel bad. Also has glow. Available in Instagram filters. Just met Sam, trust me she was glowing.”

Earlier, replying to the tweet, actress Samantha wrote, “I pray you never have to go through months of treatment and medication like I did…and to add to your glow I’m here Some love.”

She looked gorgeous in an ivory colored saree and accessorised her look with a pair of glasses at the trailer launch of ‘Shakuntalam’. His pictures and videos were going viral on social media.


Samantha was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called myositis last year. Autoimmune disorder that causes a person’s immune system to attack their muscles. This causes chronic inflammation – inflammation that comes and goes over a long period of time.


On the work front, she will reportedly be seen in the Indian Prime Video original of ‘Citadel’.
