As per a report, Fawad Khan is set to make his highly anticipated Bollywood comeback in a romcom alongside Ridhi Dogra
Recent reports hinted that Pakistani actor Fawad Khan would be returning to Bollywood after his appearance in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016) alongside Vaani Kapoor. However, Hindustan Times have reported that Khan will actually star in an upcoming theatrical project with actor Ridhi Dogra.
“The two will be cast in a romcom drama; the supporting actors are yet to be cast,” a source reveals, noting that the project is still in its early stages. “The paperwork was only recently completed, and the duo have been cast as romantic interests. The director’s name is still kept under wraps,” the insider added.
According to the source, filming for the untitled project has not commenced yet, as both actors are currently occupied with other commitments. “The shoot will begin by the end of this year. The makers plan to release the film by next year’s end or the beginning of 2026,” the insider shared.
Interestingly, Dogra, 39, and Khan, 42, won’t be filming any scenes in India. “The project will be shot in several locations including New York (US) and London (UK). It matches the theme of their romcom drama,” concludes the source.
