After returning from a holiday, the family faced unusual circumstances upon arriving home. The young child was inconsolable, and both the husband and wife fell ill. They were alarmed by a strange smell permeating the house, and to their distress, family members began experiencing hair loss. Despite a thorough search of the house yielding nothing, they eventually installed a hidden camera near the door, which recorded suspicious activities of a neighboring resident.
The situation unfolded when a Florida family returned from vacation and immediately sensed something was wrong. Upon entering their home, they detected an unfamiliar smell, unlike anything they had experienced before. Described as a chemical odor rather than spoiled food, Umar and Samira, the couple, investigated their house to locate the source of the unusual scent.

Trying to eliminate the odor, the couple opened every window in their house. During this time, their young daughter’s health declined; she cried incessantly and refused to eat. Umar and Samira also developed headaches. This persisted for a week until Umar observed that their daughter had lost a significant amount of hair from her head.
Additionally, Umar noticed significant hair loss himself. Their condition worsened to the point where all three spent entire days in bed. Following this, he sought medical help and informed the landlord, but no resolution was reached, although it was clear the smell emanated from near the door. Subsequently, the couple installed a hidden camera to investigate what was occurring there.

Captured in camera
The camera captured their neighbor, Li, a 36-year-old Chinese citizen, throwing a liquid substance through their door. The substance included methadone, hydrocodone, and another unidentified toxic element. Li acted due to irritation from noises from the family’s house, leading to him throwing these chemicals. However, Li was deported to China from the US. A court case has been initiated, with warnings of legal action if Li returns to America.
