Ram Singh Rana, owner of Golden Hut Dhaba

Ram Singh Rana, who was a supporter of the farmers’ movement from day one, will restart his Golden Hut Dhaba, which has been closed due to government strictness. This dhaba of Rana is built near Sonepat on the Amritsar-New Delhi highway. During the movement, he had made food free for the farmers at his place, after which he came under the target of the BJP government of Haryana.

Rana was very happy to see the Fateh march of farmers passing in front of his dhaba on Saturday. He said that Golden Hut is going to be operational again very soon. Of course the movement is over and the farmers returned to their homes laughing and singing after the victory, but the facility of free food for the farmers would continue at their Dhaba. Rana said that farmers are members of his family and if even a single farmer comes to his place, he will be given free langar.

The government had closed the road to Rana’s dhaba

Ram Singh Rana, owner of Golden Hut, was in the news a lot for helping the agitating farmers. For this reason, he had to become a target of the wrath of the central government along with the Haryana government. The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) closed the cut for his dhaba on the highway in Sonepat with huge stones so that the drivers could not stop there.

Ram Singh Rana anchored in his Golden Hut Dhaba for the farmers returning to Punjab during the Fateh March on Saturday. During this, Gulab Jamun was also arranged for the farmers.

Sukhbir-Majithia had reached to encourage

Many other types of pressure were also put on Ram Singh Rana. Gradually the atmosphere became such that Ram Singh Rana had to close his dhaba. At that time many Sikh and farmer organizations raised their voice in their favor. Then Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Badal and former Akali minister Bikram Majithia had specially reached his dhaba. He was later honored with Siropa at the Golden Temple in Amritsar for helping the farmers.

Ram Singh Rana is a resident of Kurukshetra.

Ram Singh Rana is originally from Kurukshetra and runs a Dhaba named Golden Hut in Kurukshetra and Sonipat. In the year 2020, when the farmers started dharna on the Singhu border, Ram Singh Rana came forward to help them on the highway. He started free food for the farmers at his dhaba. Arrangements were also made for the stay of the farmers here. He played this service of langar for almost 1 year. On Saturday, even on the occasion of the return of the farmers, he put langar for them at his dhaba. Sweets were also fed to the farmers here.
