Ace choreographer and filmmaker, Farah Khan, who is currently seen as a judge on the comedy show, has recently tested COVID positive despite having double vaccination. On Wednesday, Farah took to her Insta story to share the news of herself contracting the virus.
Earlier in a report by ETimes TV it was said thatFarah Khan has informed everyone on the sets of her comedy show that she has tested COVID positive and asked everyone to take necessary precautions. Singer Mika Singh has replaced her on the show for future episodes. She will not return to the sets for a few days now.
On a related note, Farah Khan recently shot for a few other reality shows apart from her comedy show and might have contracted the virus then. She reunited with her friend Shilpa Shetty Kundra for the dance reality show Super Dancer 4 on Monday (August 30). He also shot a special episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 with Amitabh Bachchan.
Farah also shared a video and pictures from the sets of Super Dancer.
Farah Khan is completely vaccinated and resumed work for the comedy show a month back.
Meanwhile, India saw a surge in new Covid cases on Wednesday, registering 41,965 fresh coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, as against Tuesday’s 30,941 cases. At the same time, the country made a record of vaccination by vaccinating 1.33 crore people in a single day.
With this, the total number increased to 3,28,10,845, according to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Wednesday.
Of the total fresh Covid infections reported on Tuesday, 19,622 were from Kerala alone, the highest among the states.
