Farah Khan was seen deeply grieving after the passing of her mother, Menaka Irani. In a series of emotional and widely shared photographs, Shah Rukh Khan, a close friend of Farah’s, was spotted at her residence to offer his support. SRK, accompanied by his family members Gauri and Suhana Khan, was seen consoling Farah. One poignant moment captured in the photos shows Shah Rukh giving Farah a flying kiss as a sign of his support and affection.
The Bollywood superstar, who shares a long-standing friendship with Farah, made sure to be by her side during this difficult time. After spending some time with her, Farah was seen coming down from her residence with Shah Rukh, who stayed with her until she left. Later, she was driven away by celebrity photographer Avinash Gowariker.
Earlier in the day, several celebrities, including Rani Mukerji, Shilpa Shetty, Bhushan Kumar, and MC Stan, among others, arrived at Farah Khan’s house to pay their last respects.
Just days before her mother’s passing, Farah had dedicated an endearing birthday greeting to Menaka Irani on Instagram. She wrote, “We all take our mothers for granted, especially me! This past month has been a revelation of how much I love my mom, Menka. She’s been the strongest and bravest person I’ve ever seen, with her sense of humour intact even after multiple surgeries.”
She added, “Happy birthday, Mom! Today is a good day to come back home. I can’t wait for you to get strong enough to start fighting with me again. I love you.”
