Fans ask Ayan Mukerji to stop spoiling Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s ‘Brahmastra’ with promos; director promises ‘Everything will be new and fresh on the big screen’ – Times of India

It’s a new day and ‘Brahmastra’ director Ayan Mukerji has dropped a fresh new promo for the Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer.

The filmmaker kicked off a 10-day countdown by sharing short videos of his many characters in the film. However, with the release just four days away, fans eager to catch this film are pleading with the makers to stop spoiling their film.

“They better stop giving any promos from now onwards. This one single promo is enough to pull audiences into theatre,” a fan tweeted.

Another advised the team, “Bro pre release promo was enough… you really didn’t need to post more clips, if jyada hi dikkat h toh songs ki making video post kardo.”

“@BrahmastraFilm please don’t release any other short clips from the movie, people are hyped enough. so no more reveals please,” another requested.

Ayan, who has been keeping a close tabs on the fan comments, took to his handle today to address this concern with fans but did so by releasing a new clip that looks like something from a climax fight scene.

“I hear some comments telling me to stop sharing clips and more shots from the movie… But for those who are watching our units and feel that way… Don’t worry. The actual movie is a whole other experience. Truly Everything about Brahmāstra will be new and fresh on the big screen,” he said in his post.

The director also revealed that the film which took 5 years to make, finally wrapped up today. He wrote, “We finally finally finished our last touches on Brahmastra early this morning… Monday, the day of Shiv, which feels so right. Also feels right to share a small glimpse of our Shiva on this Monday – the man who’s story this film really is.”

Opening up about the 3D experience that awaits the audience, he said, “I am so so excited for our audiences to watch it in 3D, with our final Sound and Music! Going to watch the final 3D Print myself soon and if I’m getting excited about it personally after having lived with every shot in this movie for so long, am so hopeful about what others will FEEL.”

‘Brahmastra’ which is the first part of the Astra franchise, also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna, is set to hit the big screens this Friday. The movie will also feature Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in cameos.
