Jaipur: The special operations group (so called) of Rajasthan Police An official raided a villa here on Wednesday and recovered machines and materials to print counterfeit notes.

ADG ATS and SOG Ashok Rathore said that the SOG team led by DIG Sharat Kaviraj raided a villa of residential scheme in Goner area of Jaipur on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday on the information of printing fake notes.
Rathore said the team found Brijesh Maurya and Pratham Sharma cutting fake notes from a sheet.
“High quality counterfeit notes of Rs 200 and Rs 500 with a total face value of Rs 5,80,900, partially printed notes, color printers, scanning machines, paper and other materials have been seized from the spot,” he said.
“The seized counterfeit notes look exactly like genuine and have watermarked RBI thread and number marking on them,” the official said.
