Fact Check: The Kerala Story Makers Deny Movie Releasing On OTT Platform As Of Now, No Date Announced

New Delhi: The recently released box office phenomenon ‘The Kerala Story’ has marked one of the grandest successes post the pandemic. While the film is garnering love across the globe, it is outperforming itself every day at the box office. The film is currently running in its third week and the makers are yet to decide on the digital platform for its OTT release. However, rumors are doing the rounds saying that the film is yet to premiere on OTT.

Talking about the same, a spokesperson for Sunshine Pictures says, “The makers of Kerala Story are yet to finalize an OTT partner to release the film. All reports saying otherwise are absolutely fake.”

The film is effectively creating a mark on the hearts of the audience, while earning well and building its reputation globally.

Currently, several OTT giants are racing to buy the rights of the film. While ‘The Kerala Story’ has crossed Rs 225 crore nett mark at the Indian box office, the film is still being loved by the audiences across the country. People across the world are praising filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal Shah for his bold decision to expose the real events.

Kerala Story is produced, developed and distributed by Sunshine Pictures, owned by Vipul Amritlal Shah. Adah Sharma leads the cast along with Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani and Siddhi Idnani. Kerala Story is bankrolled by Sunshine Pictures Pvt Ltd, founded by Vipul Amritlal Shah, who is the producer, creative director and co-writer of the film, co-produced by Ashin A Shah and directed by Sudipto Sen.
