Team Indian team set to fly down to Australia ahead of the highly anticipated Border Gavaskar Trophy was announced on Saturday, and star spinner Kuldeep Yadav was rested in search for a resolution for a chronic groin issue that has troubled the spinner for a while.

Kuldeep managed to pick 3 first-innings wickets in a losing cause as India went down to the touring Kiwis in the opening Test of the series in a huge disappointment.
However, he was not part of the playing eleven in the second Test as India face a tricky situation to salvage the Pune Test.
However, considering a workload-heavy season, the BCCI have opted to err on the side of caution in order to pinpoint a solution for the issues that have strained the player.
