Education Minister Bratya Basu told PTI on Tuesday that the committee’s experts will guide the state on NEP implementation.

On July 29, 2020, the Central Government approved the NEP 2020 to replace the 34-year-old National Policy on Education, 1986.

As per the draft policy, students in grades 3, 5 and 8 will have to take school exams which will be conducted by the appropriate authority. Board examinations of class 10th and 12th will be prepared afresh.
