Fans of popular K-pop group EXO were in for a surprise today when the group’s management company SM Entertainment announced that member Kim Jong-in, better known as Kai, will be enlisting in the military on May 11. The announcement came as a surprise. For fans who have been eagerly waiting for EXO’s comeback later this year. The reason for recruiting the singer is due to a recent change in Military Manpower Administration regulations, which has prompted the group to adjust their plans accordingly. Kai will receive basic military training at the Army Recruit Training Center before serving as a public service worker.
