What did the Election Commission say for the 2022 exit polls?
The Election Commission of India has barred print and electronic media organizations from sharing exit polls between February 10 and March 7 as well as publishing or making predictions for election results during that time. “No person shall conduct any exit poll and publish or publicize the results of any exit poll in print or in any other manner,” the poll body said in its order.
As a result, exit polls will be issued after the last phase of polling in Uttar Pradesh ends at 6:30 pm.

Elections to the 403-member Uttar Pradesh assembly were held in seven phases this year on February 10, 14, 20, 23, 27 and March 3 and 7.
On February 14, 70 seats in Uttarakhand and 40 in Goa went to polls in a single phase, while the 117-member Punjab Assembly went to polls on February 20. Voting for the 60-member election was held on February 27 and March 3. Manipur Legislative Assembly was held in two phases.
