Treadmills are undoubtedly an excellent cardio workout that helps you lose belly fat, strengthen your bones, heart muscles, and tone your body. It primarily works your knees and other joints, but has some upper body benefits as well.

A stationary bike works your glutes, calves and thighs. It is good for toning muscles, reducing weight, strengthening heart muscles and increasing lung capacity. A stationary bike doesn’t provide many of the upper body benefits.
