Now lawyers in the Supreme Court will be able to represent any case even from a mobile phone. The Supreme Court has given its exemption. However, the apex court has put a condition for this that in video conferencing, the face of the lawyer should be clearly visible while pleading with the mobile.

Supreme Court Bar Association gave information
The Supreme Court Bar Association has informed its members in Indore about this decision through a letter. The letter said that there was a virtual meeting of the lawyers with the four senior most judges including the Chief Justice of India (CJI). In this, the CJI has given permission to plead through mobile.

The CJI has given this exemption, provided the mobile is kept in the right place, the face is clearly visible, the mic should be kept on only when necessary. According to advocate Manoj Biniwale, member of the Bar Association of the Supreme Court, those who do not have the facility of laptop, desktop, those lawyers can also attend the hearing from mobile.

The issue of muting the mic of lawyers also raised
On behalf of the association, the judges were told that the lawyers do not get the opportunity to speak many times. His mic is muted. It affects the cases. Advocate Praveen K. Rawal says that this facility can be started in lower courts as well after the Supreme Court allows hearing from mobile.

It is worth noting that two days ago, the CJI had expressed displeasure over the lobbying from the mobile. He had said, ‘The lawyer is neither visible nor heard clearly on the mobile.’
