Satish is the first heavyweight boxer from India to qualify for the Olympics. He was injured during his pre-quarterfinal win against Jamaica’s Ricardo Brown at the Ryogoku Kokugikan Arena. The 32-year-old was given medical clearance to fight in the quarter-finals in the morning.
