Salman Khan, who celebrates his 56th birthday today, is all set to join the theater chain. ETimes recently asked him about the update on the same, he said, “Yes, we had plans to open theaters. We had planned to open them, hopefully, it will be sometime soon. It’s still in the works. We were planning. This but everything was put on hold (because of the pandemic). Slowly we will come back to this, but surely someday. We had planned to open them in smaller towns where People didn’t have access to cinema halls. Not here in cities like in Mumbai.” For this pet project, Salman met several manufacturers, distributors and exhibitors to consolidate his plan and understand the working of the market better. It was reported that the actor would first flag off the project in Maharashtra and later expand it to other states in the next 10 years.
