MumbaiBollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who will be seen playing the role of an Indian Air Force officer in “Tejas”, wrapped up the shooting of the film on Saturday (October 30). The ‘Panga’ star took to social media to share a video to inform his fans that ‘Tejas’ will hit the silver screen in 2022.
Kangana expressed her gratitude to the makers and said that she is grateful to play the role of a war hero in the film. He wrote, ‘Another beautiful journey has come to an end. This is a wrap for Tejas. what a ride. What is the biggest opportunity? This will make the whole country proud. Thank you @sarveshmewara for choosing me. Thank you @rsvpmovies Ronnie sir for believing in me. Thank you to everyone who worked on this project… Forever grateful to see a soldier play a war hero in this lifetime. Jai Hind. See you in cinemas in 2022.”

Kangana was awarded the Best Actress Award at the recently held National Film Awards. After winning the award, she shared pictures with her parents on Instagram. The ‘fashion’ star wrote, “We all grew up with a deep desire to be worthy of our parents’ love, care and sacrifice. After all the troubles I give to my mom and dad for all those mischiefs. It seems. Thank you being my mom and dad, I wouldn’t want it any other way.”

On the professional front, the ‘Queen’ star was recently seen in ‘Thalaivi’. The biographical drama based on the life of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa released on 10 September. Despite receiving positive reviews, the film could not set the box office on fire due to various reasons.
The Hindi version of ‘Thalaivi’ did quite well upon its digital release on Netflix. The film starring Arvind Swamy was directed by AL Vijay.
Kangana also has ‘Dhaakad’, ‘The Avatar: Sita’ and ‘Manikarnika Returns’ in her kitty. ‘Dhaakad’ will hit the silver screens on 8th April next year.
