ET-like stone becomes tourist attraction in Brazilian farm – Henri Club

A giant rock resembling ET has been discovered in a remote farm Brazil – and has turned into a stunning tourist attraction.

The massive boulder, which appears to stand more than 20 feet tall, has cracks and bulges that give it almost exactly the same facial features that are lovely foreign From Stephen Spielberg’s 1980s classic.

The reef is located in the backyard of a farm in the Brazilian state of Roraima, owned by Miguel Barreto, director of the So Luiz Department of Environment.

A giant rock, located on a farm in Roraima, Brazil, closely resembles the famous Hollywood character E.T.

E.T.’s facial features are noticeable on a giant boulder that was discovered two decades ago on a farm in the state of Roraima in northern Brazil.

They only discovered the rock after a 2002 fire that spread across the field and reached an area covered with trees and plants.

“I looked at the burn and didn’t pay much attention,” Barreto recently told Brazilian news outlet G1.

‘But when I saw it again and realized it looked like E.T., I was horrified.

It has since become a popular attraction for people outside the city, and last year it was recognized as a natural landscape by the city’s Department of Tourism and Environment.

The ET-appearing rock developed its characteristics due to three geomorphological features, known as sphenoidal exfoliation, flute, and dissolution basins.

Miguel Barreto, who owns the farm where Etsy Rock is located, said that ‘knowing the stone has become popular now, if you came to So Luiz and didn’t go to Etsy Rock, you didn’t come to So Luiz’

Visitors are not charged any fee to enter the farm.

Barreto quipped, ‘Knowing that stone has become popular now, if you came to So Luiz and didn’t go to ET Rock, you didn’t come to So Luiz.’

Dr. Fabio Wankler, a sedimentary geologist at Roraima Federal University, said the ET boulder and the two rocks that served as its base ended up on the farm due to erosion and movement in the mountain area.

According to Dr. Fabio Wenkler, a sedimentary geologist at Roraima Federal University, the stone developed its ET characteristics due to three geomorphological features known as sphenoidal exfoliation, flute and dissolution basin.

Wankler noted that flutes and dissolution basins on the rock are characterized by ‘the passage of water over the rock which eventually carves out preferential channels for the passage of water flowing from above to the base.’

These features are also visible on other rocks located in the mountain range, on roads in northern and southern Roraima, he said.

ET made its screen debut on June 11, 1982. The film revolves around a young California boy who befriends a benign alien and helps him escape from Earth on a spaceship. The film earned $792.9 million at the box office.
