Erica Fernandes shares picture with Kannada actor Puneeth
Puneeth Rajkumar, son of Kannada cinema legend Rajkumar, died of a heart attack on Friday (October 29) at the age of 46. The industry and fans are in mourning over the sudden demise of the late superstar. Now, popular actress Erica Fernandes took to her social media and remembered the late actor with an interesting picture of the two. She posted a picture from her trekking days and wrote, “Gone too soon. I can’t believe myself that you are no more. #rippuneethrajkumar.” As for the unversed, Erica made her Kannada debut with Ninedale opposite Puneeth Rajkumar.

According to family sources, Puneet suffered a heart attack while working out in the gym. He was immediately shifted to Vikram Hospital. Ranganath Nayak said his condition was critical when he was brought to the hospital. But the doctors’ efforts to revive him went in vain.
The hospital said in a statement, “Puneet Rajkumar was brought to Vikram Hospital today with a diagnosis of a heart attack along with an ECG done by a family doctor. At the time of reaching the emergency, the patient was non-responsive and had cardiac asystole. Adv cardiac life support measures were initiated for immediate resuscitation. Despite prolonged advanced and invasive measures, the patient remained non-responsive and asystolic. Panel of medical experts stepped up all efforts to save him. Declared dead at 2.30 pm.”
Puneet’s health deteriorated on Thursday evening but he did not go to the doctor. He went to the gym in the morning and started having chest pain. She was taken to a private clinic where ECG was done. During the investigation, his condition deteriorated and he was taken to Vikram Hospital, where he died due to cardiac arrest.
Meanwhile, Puneet Rajkumar was born on March 17, 1975 and was affectionately known as ‘Appu’. He was a singer, television presenter and producer. He acted in more than 29 films and also acted as a child artist in many films. He won the National Film Award for Best Child Actor for his role in ‘Bettada Hoovu’.
