Wyatt, who is England’s most capped player and all-time leading run scorer in T20Is, took to Instagram on Friday to share pictures from her wedding celebrations.

Star England women’s cricket team player Danielle Wyatt took to Instagram on Friday (August 30) to share pictures from her wedding ceremony celebrations with Georgie Hodge, who is a football agent by profession. Wyatt has been dating Hodge since 2019, and the couple got engaged last year in South Africa. Wyatt, who is all set to represent England in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 in the United Arab Emirates, tied the knot with Hodge on June 10, 2024, and on Friday she shared pictures from the celebration of her second wedding.

In a post shared by Wyatt, the couple can be seen posing for pictures, and she captioned it, “22.08.2024, Mrs & Mrs Wyatt-Hodge.”

33-year-old Wyatt is quite famous in India. She had famously proposed to Indian batting superstar Virat Kohli on social media back in 2014 with a tweet that read, “Kohli marry me!” She is also close friends with legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s son, Arjun Tendulkar.

Wyatt’s record for England

Wyatt made her international debut for England against India in Mumbai on March 1, 2010, during an ODI match, and since then has played in a total of two Tests, 112 ODIs, and 160 T20Is. She has scored 129, 1907, and 2828 runs in Tests, ODIs, and T20Is, respectively, and also has 27 and 46 wickets in ODIs and T20Is to her name.

Wyatt, who will be a key player for Heather Knight & Co. in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, which is set to be played in the United Arab Emirates from October 3 to 20, holds the record for scoring most runs in T20Is for the English women’s cricket team. In addition to the record for most runs, she is the only English cricketer to score two centuries in the shortest format of the game and has also played in the most number of matches in T20Is for England.

Only Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur (173) and New Zealand’s Suzie Bates (162) have managed to play in more T20I matches than her in international cricket (both men’s and women’s combined).
