England will look to seal the deal when they take on Pakistan in the second match of the three-match ODI series at Lord’s. The hosts are currently playing under the leadership of Ben Stokes and have several debutants who can excel as shown in the series opener.

Saqib Mahmood returned to England duty with a four-wicket haul as the fully-replaced hosts put their Covid-19 problems behind them with a nine-wicket win over Pakistan in the first One Day International in Cardiff on Thursday .

Player of the match Mahmood took an ODI best of 4-42 as Pakistan were bowled out for just 141, with more than 14 overs left to bat. England, the 50-over world champions, went 1-0 up at 142-1. in a three-match series before Saturday’s clash at Lord’s. David Malan was dismissed for 68 after a run-ball half-century.
