Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday said he feels “encouraged” as opposition leaders are also talking about his party, a day after Congress MLA Navjot Singh Sidhu tweeted that AAP has always been a part of Punjab. Recognized for his vision and work.
“Navjot Singh Sidhu? He is in Punjab. I am glad that you are doing such a good job that even the opposition leaders are praising us. So, one feels excited about it,” the Delhi Chief Minister, who is on a two-day visit to Goa, told reporters when asked about Sidhu’s tweet.
In a series of tweets on Tuesday, Sidhu said: “Our opposition AAP has always recognized my vision and work for Punjab. The tweet came as the party high command was on the verge of announcing a truce formula for the Punjab Congress, which is fueled by infighting between Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and Sidhu, with many interpreting the statements calling Sidhu in general. Within minutes of the tweet, top Congress leaders were left confused and some of them interpreted it as a subtle compliment to the AAP.
