On this, the security forces started a search operation to find the terrorists with the help of drone cameras. During this, the terrorists started firing on the team, in retaliation, the team killed one terrorist. At the same time, two soldiers were also martyred in this encounter. Both the jawans were posted in the Rashtriya Rifles, whose names are Santosh Yadav and Romit Chavan.

Santosh Yadav, a martyr of Rashtriya Rifles, is a resident of Deoria, Uttar Pradesh. On the other hand, Sepoy Romit Thanji Chavan is a resident of Thane district of Maharashtra. The PRO of the Indian Army has told that both the soldiers died due to bullet injuries.
