Bollywood’s serial kisser Emraan Hashmi was last seen in Selfie, which also starred Akshay Kumar. He played the role of an RTO officer, which was quite different from his previous roles. The Awarapan actor had earned the title of ‘Serial Killer of Bollywood’ due to bold roles and steamy scenes in films like Murder and Poison. He also romanced an actress on-screen, who later became his sister-in-law.
Reportedly, Emraan Hashmi created quite a stir after the release of Anurag Basu’s Murder. The film also featured Mallika Sherawat. Just before this, another film titled Paap was released, which was the directorial debut of actress Pooja Bhatt. The film starred John Abraham and marked the debut of Udita Goswami, who enthralled the audience with her beauty and grace. Soon, both the actors were brought together for the film Zeher.
Zeher: A Love Story became a topic of discussion due to some provocative scenes between Emraan Hashmi and Udita Goswami and songs like Woh Lamhe and Agar Tum Mil Jaao. The film marks the directorial debut of Mohit Suri, who is also Emraan Hashmi’s cousin. Reportedly, when Udita romanced the Hamari Adhuri Kahani actor on-screen, she became very close to the director off-screen.
As per reports, Udita Goswami and Mohit Suri dated for almost 8 years and then tied the knot on January 29, 2013. The couple are proud parents of two children. Udita later worked with Emraan Hashmi again for the film Aksar, which was a flop but gave hit songs like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. He has also acted in other films like Fox, Rock and Apartment, which all performed well at the box office. Udita’s last film was Diary of a Butterfly which released in 2012. It once again flopped at the box office. Udita Goswami is trained in DJing and even appeared in a video of DJ Suketu’s remix- Kya Khoob Lagti Ho.
Emraan Hashmi will next be seen collaborating with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif for Tiger 3. He also has Sanjay Gupta’s Shootout At Byculla in the pipeline.
