Emma Watson reveals she wanted to leave ‘Harry Potter’

New Delhi: Actress Emma Watson, who played Hermione Granger in the “Harry Potter” films, once considered leaving the franchise, reports Entertainment Weekly.

Along with her co-stars from the franchise, Emma appeared in the “Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: ​​Return to Hogwarts” special, where she opened up about going through a stressful time.

Emma said, “I found a diary entry that went something like this. I could see that sometimes I was alone.” Later in the special, she mentions, “the thing about fame finally hit the house in a big way.”

Director David Yates said that when he came to direct the remaining Harry Potter films, starting with 2007’s ‘Order of the Phoenix’, producers David Heyman and Warner Bros. wants to come back.”

Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy in the film franchise, said, “People definitely forget what he did and how decently he did it. Dan (Radcliffe) and Rupert (Grint), they had each other I had my partner while Emma. She was not only younger, she was herself.”

However, no one had to convince her to stay with the franchise until the end as Emma said, “The fans really wanted me to be successful and we all really had each other’s backs.”

The actress also recalled Ron and Hermione’s big kissing scene in ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2,’ “the most terrifying thing any of us had to go through.”
