The latest outage of the platform has forced people to head over to other social media apps
The platform has been inaccessible for many users across the globe on Wednesday who have reported the issue widely.
Social media platform X, formerly Twitter, faced a big outage on Wednesday with thousands reporting problems in accessing their X feed. The issue is widespread as people from countries like India and the US have shared their complaints on the popular reporting platform Downdetector. Most of the reports have been recorded after 8:47 AM IST while the global reports are well over 28,000 for the same timeline.
We verified these issues at our end on X and didn’t have any difficulty in accessing our account on the web and the mobile app. The outage is clearly in effect but it might not be as widespread as in other regions.
Since X, or Twitter (if you still prefer to call it that), experienced an outage, numerous users went to other platforms such as Facebook and even Reddit to confirm the same. As of now, it cannot be confirmed, but many users were still able to post on X despite being unable to see anything.
This is the latest outage at the Musk-owned company since the takeover but this isn’t as bad as the last one in December last year. We are hoping that X shares more details about the issues that caused the outage but for now, people are happy to remember the good old days of other social media platforms, especially since they can’t update about the down time on X because they can’t access it in the first place.
